Show Notes

In three days it is Buddha’s Birthday. In our country there are many people who believe in Buddhism, and those people keep that day. Buddhism came from the son of the king of a certain tribe in India. That prince harbored doubts about the birth, aging, sickness, and death of human life, and he went out into the world to find out the reason. In the course of that he went through many hardships, lost his parents and lost his country, and became utterly exhausted in body and mind. What he said he had realized was the saying that what exists does not exist, and what does not exist exists. From that realization the Buddhism of today came into being.
